President Wang Qi,Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee ofthe universityZhang Qijian,heads ofrelated functional departments andleaders ofeach college attendedthe meeting. Li Gang,Dean ofSchool of Automobile and Traffic Engineering, introduced the experience summary of promoting employment of “featuredclasses”.Pan Lizhi,KeLiliandDong Li introduced this area, the basic situationof the region,the talent introduction policies and other contentrespectively.They hopedto continue to deepenthecooperationbetweentheuniversityand thelocal government and enterprises, promote theintegration of production and educationandjoint cultivation oftalents,and provide the opportunities of employmentthrough visiting enterprises and expanding posts and other forms ofactivities, so as to providea broader employment platform for thestudents of Liaoning University of Technology.

Wang Qi made the concluding speech. He put forward requirements forthe employment work ofouruniversityfrom three aspects: employment situation, employment environment and employment system.Hepointed out that employmentwas an important guiding link ofthehigh-leveltalenttraining systemof the university, and itwas necessary to accurately grasp the characteristics and needs of the new stage of development, and speed up the improvement of the employment work system andtalenttraining system that organically combine resources inside and outside theuniversity. In the information age, faced with great changes unseen in a century, the employment positions hadnew characteristics of professionalism, composite,andcross-industry and internationalization. Each college should strengthen the synergy thinking, firm target confidence, deeply “visit enterprises”, toughly“expand posts”, combine the national strategy and regional economic and social development,go to the grassroots level,go totheenterprises, especially small and medium-sized innovative enterprises, andgotothe rural areafor theurgently neededpostsin therural revitalization. Each college shouldestimatethe social demand, and constantly optimize major setting, curriculum system, course content, teaching organization mode, improvestudents’ project practice ability and innovation ability,at the same time, strengthen theability ofinformation technology application, andtheability of international communication and management, constantly improve the quality oftalenttraining, achieve high quality employmentofgraduates, provide strong talent guarantee for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
